What separates Heatmor from the pack is Flash Fire — it absorbs Fire moves and powers up its own. Combine that with Fire typing and it relies on priority moves or Scarf to keep up. Introduced in Gen 5.
The stat budget goes to damage. Sp. Atk and Attack carry the offense, Speed doesn't even come close. An Anteater Pokemon on a medium-fast 1M XP curve, worth 2 Sp. Atk EVs per KO.
Using their very hot, flame-covered tongues, they burn through Durant’s steel bodies and consume their insides.
It draws in air through its tail, transforms it into fire, and uses it like a tongue. It melts Durant and eats them.
Heatmor Weakness
AvgHeatmor's Fire typing leaves it vulnerable to Water, Ground, and Rock moves. With 6 resistances, the defensive profile is strong. Flash Fire grants an additional Fire immunity, reshaping the matchup chart.
No evolution chain to worry about here. Heatmor is a standalone Pokemon with no compatible partners for breeding through one egg group. Eggs come out average hatch time.
How to Evolve
Breed Heatmor easily from the Ground egg group. Pass egg moves like Belch, Body Slam, Curse and 8 more to offspring.
Gluttony isn't flashy, but it matters. Combined with Sitrus Berry for a one-time health recovery at low HP and Defense and Sp. Def investment EVs, Heatmor fills the physical attacker slot reliably. Adamant nature finishes the spread.

Breadth over depth defines this movepool. Heatmor won't stack one type's damage ceiling, but coverage across 11 types means it always has an effective option. Fire Blast and Inferno anchor the STAB core.
