  • At 580 BST, Enamorus is built different. We rank it B-Tier. As a Legendary Pokemon, the raw stats back up the reputation. Best used as a sweeper.

  • Watch for Jolteon (Electric), Cloyster (Ice), and Nidoking (Poison) when using Enamorus. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Rock and Steel-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter.

  • Enamorus gets Contrary and Cute Charm. But Contrary is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that. With base 106 Speed, Contrary gives Enamorus an edge before opponents can react.

  • Enamorus is a mixed attacker with base 115 Attack and 135 Sp. Atk. Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 106 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. Fits the sweeper role.

  • Enamorus's hidden ability is Contrary. Inverts stat changes. Better than the standard options for competitive play.
