Between Sheer Force and Dragon typing, Druddigon carves out a strong competitive niche. It drops secondary effects for a straight power boost, which gives it an edge most Pokemon in its stat range don't have. Been around since Gen 5.
Druddigon's spread isn't flashy. Attack leads, Speed trails, 3 stats clear the bar. Tough to catch and worth 2 Attack EVs, on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
It races through narrow caves, using its sharp claws to catch prey. The skin on its face is harder than a rock.
It warms its body by absorbing sunlight with its wings. When its body temperature falls, it can no longer move.
Druddigon Weakness
AvgIce, Dragon, and Fairy-type moves hit Druddigon for super-effective damage. It resists 4 types, giving it decent defensive coverage. With 77 HP and balanced defenses, Druddigon can afford to eat a neutral hit or two.
No evolution chain to worry about here. Druddigon is a standalone Pokemon with no compatible partners for breeding through two egg groups. Eggs come out slow to hatch.
How to Evolve
Breed Druddigon easily from the Dragon and Monster egg groups. Pass egg moves like Crush Claw, Feint Attack, Fire Fang and 8 more to offspring.
This build takes hits and hits back. Rocky Helmet provides chip damage on every physical hit received, Rough Skin supports the gameplan, and max HP and Attack EVs mean Druddigon doesn't crumble to chip damage. Plus Ground coverage backing it up.

Don't let Druddigon's 485 base stat total fool you. Sheer Force is what makes it tick — it punches way above its weight class. We rate it C-Tier as a wallbreaker.
Druddigon doesn't evolve and has no evolutionary line. It's a Dragon-type Pokemon with a 485 base stat total.
Run Sheer Force on Druddigon. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Druddigon also gets Rough Skin and Mold Breaker, but they don't compare.
Druddigon fills the wallbreaker role. It's leaning toward the physical side (base 120 Attack). Base 48 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
