Stats & Training
Druddigon's spread isn't flashy. Attack leads, Speed trails, 3 stats clear the bar. Tough to catch and worth 2 Attack EVs, on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
Druddigon lives in caves, but it never skips sunbathing—it won’t be able to move if its body gets too cold.
Druddigon are vicious and cunning. They take up residence in nests dug out by other Pokémon, treating the stolen nests as their own lairs.

Druddigon Guide
In Sun & Moon, Don't let Druddigon's 485 base stat total fool you. Sheer Force is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it C-Tier as a wallbreaker. Stealth Rock with Rocky Helmet is the standard set.
In Sun & Moon, Run Sheer Force on Druddigon. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Druddigon also gets Rough Skin and Mold Breaker, but they don't compare.
In Sun & Moon, Druddigon fills the wallbreaker role. It's a special attacker with base 60 Sp. Atk. Base 48 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
In Sun & Moon, run Stealth Rock, Glare, Dragontail, and Snarl on Druddigon. Stealth Rock is the most common pick at 25% usage. This set covers the wallbreaker role with a mix of damage and utility.
Game Availability
Introduced in Black & White, Druddigon has appeared in 7 games across 6 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
