How to Evolve
Breeding
BDSP Deoxys Best Moveset
150 in Attack, Sp. Atk, and Speed make the moveset one of the fastest and hardest-hitting from either side. AbilityPressure doubles PP cost. But 50/50 in both defenses and HP mean one hit from anything that survives the initial attack ends it. Glass offense at the highest level.
Best Build
No build content available for this Pokemon in Gen 8.

Moves List
A compact toolkit overall. The offense runs through Psycho Boost and Psychic for Deoxys, with Normal and Ghost coverage and more doing what it can. Don't expect versatility from this one.

Base Stats
The stat bars tell the story: Attack carries everything and Defense's dead weight. But this DNA Pokemon still yields 3 Attack and Sp. Atk and Speed EVs per fight on a slow 1.25M XP grind.
An alien virus that fell to earth on a meteorite underwent a DNA mutation to become this Pokémon.
Deoxys Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl Guide
In Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, Deoxys is a Mythical Pokemon rated S-Tier. At 600 BST, it hits hard. It excels as a sweeper. That 180 base Attack does the heavy lifting.
In Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, Deoxys's biggest threats include Heracross (Bug), Misdreavus (Ghost), and Houndoom (Dark), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Deoxys's base 150 Speed lets it outpace many threats and strike first, which matters more than trying to tank hits.
Pressure is the go-to ability for Deoxys. It increases the PP cost of moves targetting the Pokémon by one. It's Deoxys's only ability.
Deoxys is a mixed attacker with base 180 Attack and 180 Sp. Atk. Fragile, can't afford to take many hits, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 150 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. Fits the sweeper role.
In Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, the best way to handle Deoxys: Priority moves (Mach Punch, Aqua Jet, Ice Shard) bypass its speed. Bulky walls that resist its STAB also shut it down.
