While most trainers evolve Brionne into Primarina immediately, the unevolved form has a niche with Eviolite boosting its defenses. Only weak to Electric and Grass. Known as the Pop Star Pokemon. Can go either physical or special depending on the set.
Brionne's spread isn't flashy. Sp. Atk leads, Speed trails, 2 stats clear the bar. Tough to catch and worth 2 Sp. Atk EVs, on a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.
A skillful dancer, it creates a sequence of water balloons as it dances, and briskly bombards its enemies.
It cares deeply for its companions. When its Trainer is feeling down, it performs a cheery dance to try and help.
Brionne Weakness
GoodElectric and Grass-type moves hit Brionne for super-effective damage. It resists 4 types, giving it decent defensive coverage. Only 2 weaknesses makes it relatively easy to build around defensively.
Brionne is the middle stage between Popplio and Primarina. It's a three-stage line with one more evolution to go. For breeding, quick to hatch with no compatible partners via two egg groups. So far, Sp.Atk got the biggest boost (+25 from Popplio). The final form adds another 110 stats on top.
How to Evolve
Breed with Brionne to get Popplio eggs easily from the Ground and Water1 egg groups. Notable egg moves include Amnesia, Aqua Ring, Aromatic Mist and 3 more.

Try selecting a different game/generation filter, or check back later.
Don't skip the egg moves. Brionne picks up Amnesia and Aqua Ring only through breeding, and both fill gaps the natural movepool can't. STAB runs through Hydro Pump and Surf while Fairy and Normal coverage and more adds range.

You're catching Popplio first, not Brionne. Popplio appears at moderate rates in the encounters below. The step cards map the full 2-stage line with evolution methods between each stage.

Brionne isn't fully evolved, so it's not built for competitive play. You'll want to evolve it into Primarina to unlock its full potential. At 420 BST, it's a stepping stone rather than a team anchor.
Torrent strengthens water moves to inflict 1.5× damage at 1/3 max HP or less — that's the one you want on Brionne. Liquid Voice is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses.
Brionne fills the balanced role. It's a special attacker with base 91 Sp. Atk. Base 50 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
Brionne can be found in Scarlet & Violet, Sword & Shield, Sun & Moon, and Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon.
Introduced in Sun & Moon, Brionne has appeared in 4 games across 3 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
