Doduo is technically a pre-evolution of Dodrio, but it holds its own in formats where Eviolite is allowed. Ground and Ghost moves can't touch it, and only 3 types hit it super-effectively. Known as the Twin Bird Pokemon.
Doduo's spread isn't flashy. Attack leads, HP trails, 1 stats clear the bar. Common in the wild and worth 1 Attack EV, on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
The brains in its two heads appear to communicate emotions to each other with a telepathic power.
Doduo Weakness
GoodDoduo is weak to Electric, Ice, and Rock-type moves. On the flip side, it's immune to Ground and Ghost-type moves entirely.
Doduo evolves into Dodrio. It's a two-stage chain with the method shown below. Plenty of partners for breeding via one egg group. Eggs are average hatch time. Evolving adds up to 160 stat points total.
How to Evolve
For a physical attacker, Doduo wants a spread EV build EVs and Life Orb. The Jolly nature tilts toward fast physical duty, and Earlybird contributes without taking a move slot.

TMs define Doduo's movepool. The natural moves cover basics with Thrash and Brave Bird, but the real versatility comes from technical machines giving it Dark and Fighting coverage and more. That's where the options open up.

Egg moves make a real difference. Doduo gets Assurance and Brave Bird exclusively through breeding, filling gaps that TMs and level-up can't touch. Bug and Steel coverage rounds out the picture alongside Thrash and Brave Bird.
Doduo's movepool balances level-up moves with TM options. Consistent STAB comes from Thrash and Fly, and Fighting coverage keeps opponents from switching in for free. No major gaps here.
