Zelda Breath of the Wild How To Get Heart Containers
What Are Heart Containers?
When you receive a Heart Container In Zelda Breath of the Wild you will increase your Maximum Hearts by 1.
These Hearts also know as Hit Points will appear in the top left corner of your screen.
How Do I Get More Heart Containers In Zelda Breath of the Wild?
The only way to Increase your Maximum Hearts is to Pray at a Goddes Statues when you have at least 4 or more Spirit Orbs. These are located in various towns and locations such as Kakariko Village, Gerudo Town, Zora’s Domain, Goron City, Hateno Village and Rito Village.
These Goddess Statues will emit a GLOW from the distance making them a bit easier to spot.
When you Pray at the Goddess Statue you will be prompted with Two options:
- Exchange
4x = 1 Heart Container - Exchange 4x = 1 Stamina Vessel

The 4 Divine Beast Dungeons
There are only four dungeons you can earn 1 Heart from each. they are what is know as the Divine Beast Dungeons. You will face a difficult boss fight along with puzzling dungeon to earn rewards.
In Conclusion:
Obtaining more Health can make it easier when facing harder Dungeons/Shrines and even Bosses.
In one specific case, you will be required to have a specific amount of Hearts (13) to Unlock the Master Sword Weapon.
