Vigoroth is technically a pre-evolution of Slaking, but it holds its own in formats where Eviolite is allowed. Ghost moves can't touch it, and only a single type hits it super-effectively. Known as the Wild Monkey Pokemon.
Vigoroth's spread isn't flashy. Speed leads, Sp. Atk trails, 4 stats clear the bar. Common in the wild and worth 2 Speed EVs, on a slow 1.25M XP grind.
Its heart beats at a tenfold tempo, so it cannot sit still for even a moment.
Vigoroth Weakness
GoodVigoroth is weak to Fighting-type moves. On the flip side, it's immune to Ghost-type moves entirely. Vigoroth's physical bulk (base 80 Def) helps cushion physical weakness hits, but special attackers are the bigger threat.

Vigoroth is the middle stage between Slakoth and Slaking. It's a three-stage line with one more evolution to go. For breeding, quick to hatch with a massive partner pool via one egg group. Speed has grown the most so far (+60), but there's still another 230 stats to gain in the final evolution.
How to Evolve
Breed with Vigoroth to get Slakoth eggs easily using 180 partners from the Ground egg group. Notable egg moves include After You, Body Slam, Crush Claw and 8 more.
One boost from Bulk Up and Vigoroth gets dangerous fast. The Jolly nature targets max HP and Speed, and Vitalspirit backs the whole approach. Bulk Up and utility options handle most of what's left standing.

Vital Spirit is the go-to ability for Vigoroth. It prevents sleep. It's Vigoroth's only ability.
