Tranquill sits in the middle of its evolution line — stronger than Pidove but not yet at full power. Most trainers push through to Unfezant as fast as possible. Flexible enough to run physical or special sets. Introduced in Gen 5.
Attack and Speed carry most of Tranquill's stat budget. Sp. Def's the obvious dump stat. Common in the wild and yields 2 Attack EVs. Follows a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.
It can return to its Trainer’s location regardless of the distance separating them.
Many people believe that, deep in the forest where Tranquill live, there is a peaceful place where there is no war.
Tranquill Weakness
GoodTranquill is weak to Electric, Ice, and Rock-type moves. On the flip side, it's immune to Ground and Ghost-type moves entirely.
- Fairy type does not exist — Dragon has fewer checks
- Physical / Special split now per-move (introduced Gen IV)
Partway through Pidove's chain. Tranquill still has another evolution ahead before reaching Unfezant. For breeding, quick to hatch with a decent partner pool via one egg group. Attack has grown the most so far (+22), but there's still another 130 stats to gain in the final evolution.
