Stats & Training
Spheal's spread isn't flashy. HP leads, Speed trails, 0 stats clear the bar. Easy to catch and worth 1 HP EV, on a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.
They can’t swim well yet, and they move much faster by rolling. When they’re happy, they clap fins.
Its body is covered in fluffy fur. The fur keeps it from feeling cold while it is rolling on ice.
Spheal Weakness
Spheal's Ice/Water typing leaves it vulnerable to Electric, Grass, Fighting, and Rock. Thick Fat reduces Fire/Ice damage, further improving the defensive spread.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 2x (Weak) | Electric, Grass, Fighting, Rock |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Water |
| 0.25x (Resist) | Ice |
In X & Y, Tyranitar can KO Spheal with Stone Edge (257-302%). Hitmontop threatens a KO with Close Combat (214-252%).
