Nacli sits at the start of its evolution line — not yet at full power, but that changes fast. Most trainers push through to Garganacl as fast as possible. 5 type weaknesses to keep in mind. Known as the Rock Salt Pokemon.
Nothing fancy in Nacli's spread. It leans mixed with Defense out front. And you'll get 1 Defense EV per KO for it. Follows a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.
It was born in a layer of rock salt deep under the earth. This species was particularly treasured in the old days, as they would share precious salt.
The ground scrapes its body as it travels, causing it to leave salt behind. Salt is constantly being created and replenished inside Nacli’s body.
Nacli Weakness
FragileNacli is weak to Water, Grass, Fighting, Ground, and Steel-type moves. The Rock typing picks up 4 resistances to work with. Nacli's physical bulk (base 75 Def) helps cushion physical weakness hits, but special attackers are the bigger threat.
Nacli kicks off a three-stage evolution line through Naclstack all the way to Garganacl. For breeding, average hatch time with plenty of partners via one egg group. Evolving adds up to 220 stat points total.
How to Evolve
Nacli's job is getting Stealth Rock up and staying on the field. Eviolite provides a bulk boost that only works before full evolution, Purifyingsalt helps it stick around, and a spread EV build EVs prioritize longevity. Recover keeps it healthy between hits.

Recommended Teammates
Most of Nacli's flexibility comes from TMs. Same-type output runs through Meteor Beam and Stone Edge, but Normal and Ground and the rest of the TM pool push it from predictable to genuinely threatening.

TM Moves
Egg Moves
Tutor Moves
The level-up pool tells the story here. Nacli learns Take Down and Earthquake naturally, plus enough variety that TMs feel like bonuses. Normal and Ground coverage and more extends the reach beyond that.

At 280 BST, Nacli is firmly in pre-evolution territory. Evolve it into Naclstack before bringing it to any serious fight.
Nacli's biggest threats include Swampert (Water), Roserade (Grass), and Conkeldurr (Fighting), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Ground and Steel-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter. At base 25 Speed, Nacli won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.
Nacli evolves into Naclstack at level 24. Nacli is the base form in a 3-stage evolutionary line.
Purifying Salt is the go-to ability for Nacli. It protects from status conditions and halves damage from Ghost-type moves. Its hidden ability Clear Body can work in specific setups. Sturdy is the other option — pick based on what your team needs.
Nacli is a physical attacker with base 55 Attack. Fragile — can't afford to take many hits, too. But the speed tells the real story — base 25 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go.
Nacli can be found in Legends: Z-A and Scarlet & Violet.
Since Scarlet & Violet, Nacli has been obtainable in 2 games. A Generation 9 debut means a shorter history, but Nacli has appeared steadily across every generation since.
