Loudred sits in the middle of its evolution line — stronger than Whismur but not yet at full power. Most trainers push through to Exploud as fast as possible. Known as the Big Voice Pokemon. Flexible enough to run physical or special sets.
Loudred's spread isn't flashy. HP leads, Defense trails, 1 stats clear the bar. Common in the wild and worth 2 HP EVs, on a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.
The shock waves from its cries can tip over trucks. It stamps its feet to power up.
Loudred Weakness
GoodType-wise, Loudred takes extra damage from Fighting. Ghost moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity. Only 1 weakness makes it relatively easy to build around defensively.
Loudred is the middle stage between Whismur and Exploud. It's a three-stage line with one more evolution to go. For breeding, average hatch time with no compatible partners via two egg groups. HP has grown the most so far (+20), but there's still another 130 stats to gain in the final evolution.
How to Evolve
Breed with Loudred to get Whismur eggs easily from the Ground and Monster egg groups. Notable egg moves include Circle Throw, Disarming Voice, Endeavor and 7 more.

Stall teams hate this. Loudred can spread damage across 12 types, with Ghost and Dark punishing common defensive pivots. STAB from Uproar and Hyper Voice keeps the pressure honest on everything else.

Loudred isn't fully evolved, so it's not built for competitive play. You'll want to evolve it into Exploud to unlock its full potential. At 360 BST, it's a stepping stone rather than a team anchor.
Loudred's biggest threats include Machamp (Fighting), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Only 1 weakness means fewer dedicated counters to worry about.
Soundproof is the go-to ability for Loudred. It protects against sound-based moves. Its hidden ability Scrappy can work in specific setups.
Loudred fills the balanced role. It's a mixed attacker — base 71 Attack and 71 Sp. Atk. Base 48 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go.
Loudred appears in 14 games, including Ruby & Sapphire, FireRed & LeafGreen, and Emerald.
Loudred first appeared in Ruby & Sapphire and has been available in 14 games across 7 generations. Obtainable through catching or hatching as a base form in most titles where it appears.
