Krokorok sits in the middle of its evolution line — stronger than Sandile but not yet at full power. Most trainers push through to Krookodile as fast as possible. Electric and Psychic moves can't touch it, which offsets the 6 weaknesses somewhat. Known as the Desert Croc Pokemon.
Krokorok's built around physical offense. Attack leads the charge, Defense pays for it. Moderately hard to find, worth 2 Attack EVs. Follows a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.
Protected by thin membranes, their eyes can see even in the dead of night. They live in groups of a few individuals.
Thanks to the special membrane covering its eyes, it can see its surroundings clearly, even in the middle of the night.
Krokorok Weakness
AvgKrokorok is weak to Water, Grass, Ice, Fighting, Bug, and Fairy-type moves. On the flip side, it's immune to Electric and Psychic-type moves entirely. It resists 4 types, giving it decent defensive coverage.
Krokorok is the middle stage between Sandile and Krookodile. It's a three-stage line with one more evolution to go. For breeding, average hatch time with no compatible partners via one egg group. HP has grown the most so far (+10), but there's still another 168 stats to gain in the final evolution.
How to Evolve
Breed with Krokorok to get Sandile eggs easily from the Ground egg group.
Prediction matters here. Choice Scarf means Krokorok can't change moves after clicking, but the payoff is speed patching through item lock. Max Attack and Speed EVs with Moxie back that up. The remaining moves prevents free switches.

The TM pool is where it gets interesting. Coverage across 10 types means almost nothing walls Krokorok cleanly, with Earthquake and Earth Power anchoring the STAB side. Matchup flexibility isn't a problem.

Krokorok isn't available in the wild in Legends: Z-A. Start by transferring Sandile from Black, Black 2, or Sword. The evolution path from Sandile to Krokorok is covered in the steps below.
Krokorok isn't fully evolved, so it's not built for competitive play. You'll want to evolve it into Krookodile to unlock its full potential. At 351 BST, it's a stepping stone rather than a team anchor.
Sandile evolves into Krokorok at level 29. Krokorok evolves into Krookodile at level 40. Krokorok is a middle-stage evolution in the Sandile line.
Run Intimidate on Krokorok. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Krokorok also gets Moxie and Anger Point, but they don't compare.
Krokorok fills the balanced role. It's a physical attacker with base 82 Attack. Base 74 Speed is workable — faster than some, slower than many. And it's fragile — can't afford to take many hits.
