Jirachi has the stats to dominate any format it's allowed in. 100 base HP stands out, and the rest of the spread doesn't have obvious weak points either. Introduced in Gen 3. Known as the Wish Pokemon.
An unusually even spread gives Jirachi flexibility. HP barely edges ahead. But any other stat isn't far off. Near-impossible to catch and follows a slow 1.25M XP grind. Yields 3 HP EVs.
It is said to wake up for just seven days every 1,000 years and use its power to grant any wish.
Jirachi Weakness
GoodFire, Ground, Ghost, and Dark-type moves hit Jirachi for super-effective damage. The upside? Poison-type moves can't touch it at all. With 9 resistances, the defensive profile is strong. Jirachi's overall bulk (100/100/100) lets it take a hit or two from most weaknesses before going down.
Mythical Pokemon don't breed, and Jirachi is no exception. This Steel/Psychic type sits at 600 stats with no chain to speak of.
How to Evolve
The build revolves around U-turn for safe pivoting. Serenegrace and Leftovers support Jirachi's hit-and-run approach, with max Attack and Speed EVs making sure each pivot actually threatens. The remaining moves adds versatility.

At 600 BST, Jirachi is built different. We rank it A-Tier. As a Mythical Pokemon, the raw stats back up the reputation. Best used as a sweeper.
Watch for Arcanine (Fire), Swampert (Ground), and Misdreavus (Ghost) when using Jirachi. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Dark-type attackers are also a problem. Jirachi has enough bulk to absorb a hit, but don't push the matchup. Pivot to a teammate that resists.
Jirachi doesn't evolve. As a Mythical Pokemon, it stands on its own without an evolutionary line. It's a Steel/Psychic type with 600 BST.
Serene Grace doubles the chance of moves' extra effects occurring — that's the one you want on Jirachi. It's the only ability Jirachi has.
Base 100 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. On offense, Jirachi is a mixed attacker — base 100 Attack and 100 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Tanky enough to absorb a few hits. Best used as a sweeper.
