Hatenna sits at the start of its evolution line — not yet at full power, but that changes fast. Most trainers push through to Hatterene as fast as possible. Introduced in Gen 8. Only weak to Bug, Ghost, and Dark.
Sp. Atk and Sp. Def carry most of Hatenna's stat budget. Attack's the obvious dump stat. Easy to catch and yields 1 Sp. Atk EV. Follows a slow 1.25M XP grind.
Via the protrusion on its head, it senses other creatures’ emotions. If you don’t have a calm disposition, it will never warm up to you.
If this Pokémon senses a strong emotion, it will run away as fast as it can. It prefers areas without people.
Hatenna Weakness
VulnerableHatenna is weak to Bug, Ghost, and Dark-type moves. Standard number of weaknesses for the Psychic typing.
Three stages ahead. Hatenna grows into Hattrem, then pushes on to Hatterene. Check the evolution methods below. For breeding, average hatch time with a decent partner pool via one egg group. Evolving adds up to 245 stat points total.

Base 39 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. On offense, Hatenna is a special attacker with base 56 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Fragile — can't afford to take many hits.
