Intimidate lowers the opponent's Attack on switch-in, letting Granbull hit way above its stat class. Fairy typing helps — Dragon moves can't touch it, and only 2 types hit it super-effectively. A competitive option since Gen 2. It works well under Trick Room.
Granbull's spread isn't flashy. Attack leads, Speed trails, 2 stats clear the bar. Moderately hard to find and worth 2 Attack EVs, on a fast 800K XP curve.
It is timid in spite of its looks. If it becomes enraged, however, it will strike with its huge fangs.
It can make most any Pokémon run away simply by opening its mouth wide to reveal its big fangs.
Granbull Weakness
GoodType-wise, Granbull takes extra damage from Poison and Steel. Dragon moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity. With 90 HP and balanced defenses, Granbull can afford to eat a neutral hit or two.
Granbull is the evolved form of Snubbull. Breeding produces Snubbull eggs, and they're average hatch time. Evolving from Snubbull gave Granbull the biggest boost in Attack (+40), bringing the total to 450 stats.
How to Evolve
Breed with Granbull to get Snubbull eggs easily from the Fairy and Ground egg groups. Notable egg moves include Close Combat, Crunch, Double-Edge and 12 more.
Nothing fancy here. Granbull builds around Leftovers for passive recovery each turn, Impish nature for the right stat lean, and a spread EV build EVs. Intimidate does its job quietly.

Hard to wall, honestly. Granbull threatens 12 types beyond its own STAB, with Fire and Ice standing out. Pair that with Play Rough and Dazzling Gleam and switchins need to think twice.

Don't let Granbull's 450 base stat total fool you. Intimidate is what makes it tick — it punches way above its weight class. We rate it C-Tier as a wallbreaker.
Snubbull evolves into Granbull at level 23. Granbull is the fully evolved form. It sits at 450 BST in its evolved form.
Run Intimidate on Granbull. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Granbull also gets Quick Feet and Rattled, but they don't compare.
Granbull fills the wallbreaker role. It's a physical attacker with base 120 Attack. Base 45 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
