Stats & Training
Ditto's stats barely vary. None sit in respectable range with no real gaps. It's a blank slate for EV investment. Worth 1 HP EV, medium-fast 1M XP curve to max.
It can reconstitute its entire cellular structure to change into what it sees, but it returns to normal when it relaxes.

Ditto Weakness
Ditto is weak to Fighting. On the flip side, it's immune to Ghost-type moves entirely. Only 1 weakness makes it relatively easy to build around defensively.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 2x (Weak) | Fighting |
| 0x (Immune) | Ghost |
- Fairy type does not exist — Dragon has fewer checks
- Physical / Special split now per-move (introduced Gen IV)

Black 2 & White 2 Evolution
Ditto is what you get. No evolutions, but it breeds through one egg group with no compatible partners. Hatching is average hatch time. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
Breeding
Ditto can breed with almost any Pokemon, making it essential for breeding genderless Pokemon and passing down IVs.
Black 2 & White 2 Ditto Best Moveset
Prediction matters here. Choice Scarf means Ditto can't change moves after clicking, but the payoff is speed patching through item lock. Max HP and Defense EVs with Imposter back that up. Utility options prevents free switches.

Moves
Ditto's options are limited here. You've got Normal STAB for STAB damage, but there isn't much beyond Normal hitting power. TMs help fill gaps, though the kit stays tight.

Ditto Guide
In Black 2 & White 2, Ditto's biggest threats include Machamp (Fighting), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Only 1 weakness means fewer dedicated counters to worry about.
In Black 2 & White 2, Imposter. This is Ditto's defining trait. It transforms upon entering battle. Every competitive set revolves around it. If your Ditto doesn't have Imposter, it's not worth running.
Honestly, in Black 2 & White 2 Ditto is a tough sell at 288 BST. Plenty of stronger Normal options exist. Fun pick, not a practical one.
In Black 2 & White 2, Don't let Ditto's 288 base stat total fool you. Imposter is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it D-Tier.
In Black 2 & White 2, Run Imposter on Ditto. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Ditto also gets Limber, but they don't compare.
