Mid-stage Pokemon like Cosmog rarely see competitive play outside of special formats. It's a waypoint on the road to Solgaleo, which is where the real potential kicks in. Known as the Nebula Pokemon. One of the newer additions from Gen 7.
Cosmog's stats barely vary. 0 sit in respectable range with no real gaps. It's a blank slate for EV investment. Worth 1 HP EV, slow 1.25M XP grind to max.
This Pokémon came from another universe. Its gaseous body is so light that even a gentle breeze can blow it away.
Cosmog is very curious but not very cautious, often placing itself in danger. If things start to look dicey, it teleports away.
Cosmog Weakness
VulnerableBug, Ghost, and Dark-type moves hit Cosmog for super-effective damage. 3 weaknesses is about average, nothing too hard to play around.
You'll evolve Cosmog into Lunala the traditional way. This Psychic type doesn't breed despite having a chain ahead. The evolved forms gain up to 480 total stats over Cosmog.
How to Evolve
The physical wall spread is where Cosmog earns its spot. Eviolite for a bulk boost that only works before full evolution, Bold nature for the right lean, and the moveset handles sustain. Unaware does the rest without needing a move slot.
