Bronzor is technically a pre-evolution of Bronzong, but it holds its own in formats where Eviolite is allowed. Levitate gives it a Ground immunity, adding extra value. Introduced in Gen 4. Poison moves can't touch it, which offsets the 4 weaknesses somewhat.
Defense and Sp. Def carry most of Bronzor's stat budget. Speed's the obvious dump stat. Easy to catch and yields 1 Defense EV. Follows a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
Ancient people believed that the pattern on Bronzor’s back contained a mysterious power.
They are found in ancient tombs. The patterns on their backs are said to be imbued with mysterious power.
Bronzor Weakness
GoodBronzor is weak to Fire, Ground, Ghost, and Dark-type moves. On the flip side, it's immune to Poison-type moves entirely. With 9 resistances, the defensive profile is strong. Levitate grants an additional Ground immunity, reshaping the matchup chart.
One evolution ahead. Bronzor grows into Bronzong through a straightforward two-stage chain. Plenty of partners for breeding via one egg group. Eggs are average hatch time. Evolving adds up to 200 stat points total.
How to Evolve
Breed Bronzor (with patience) with 54 breeding partners from the Mineral egg group. Pass egg moves like Gravity, Recycle to offspring.
Don't let the NFE status fool you. Bronzor with Eviolite hits bulk numbers that compete with final forms. A spread EV build EVs and Modest nature maximize that, and Levitate handles the rest.

TMs carry this one. Bronzor learns Steel Beam and Future Sight naturally for STAB, but the offensive range comes almost entirely from technical machines. Normal and Dark and beyond give it real matchup play.

Bronzor is meant to evolve into Bronzong. At 300 BST, the stats aren't there for competitive play yet. Pre-evolution Pokemon rarely hold up against fully evolved threats.
Bronzor evolves into Bronzong at level 33. Bronzor is the base form of this evolutionary line.
Levitate is what you want on Bronzor. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Heatproof, Heavy Metal) work on paper but Levitate is what makes Bronzor worth using.
Base 23 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. On offense, Bronzor is leaning toward the physical side (base 24 Attack). Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two.
Bronzor appears in 13 games, including Platinum, HeartGold & SoulSilver, and Diamond & Pearl.
Available in 13 titles since its debut in Diamond & Pearl, Bronzor spans 6 generations of Pokemon games. It's accessible through catching or hatching as a base form in a solid number of games.
