Beldum sits at the start of its evolution line — not yet at full power, but that changes fast. Most trainers push through to Metagross as fast as possible. Known as the Iron Ball Pokemon. Flexible enough to run physical or special sets.
Nothing fancy in Beldum's spread. It leans mixed with Defense out front. And you'll get 1 Defense EV per KO for it. Follows a slow 1.25M XP grind.
They converse with one another by using magnetic pulses. In a swarm, they move in perfect unison.
Beldum Weakness
GoodType-wise, Beldum takes extra damage from Fire, Ground, Ghost, and Dark. Poison moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity. It resists 9 types, so it can switch into a lot of moves safely.
Beldum kicks off a three-stage evolution line through Metang all the way to Metagross. For breeding, takes forever to hatch with no compatible partners via one egg group. Evolving adds up to 300 stat points total.

Breed Beldum (with patience) from the Mineral egg group.
Ditto onlyIronhead is the main STAB option after a Iron Defense boost. Eviolite gives Beldum a bulk boost that only works before full evolution to survive the setup turn, and a spread EV build EVs make the boosted hits count. The remaining moves catches resists.
