Zubat Guide

  • Golbat at level 22 is the mid-stage. Push through to Crobat by leveling up for the final form. 245 BST right now won't cut it long-term.

  • Level 22 gets you Golbat. Not the fastest evolution, so consider Exp. Share or route grinding to speed it up.

  • In HeartGold & SoulSilver, For a casual playthrough, Zubat works as a placeholder. Poison/Flying coverage is useful early. The real payoff is Golbat. That's where the stats start mattering.

  • You can find Zubat in HeartGold & SoulSilver. The Locations section has the full breakdown of routes and encounter details. It also appears in 20 other games across the series.

Game Availability

Present since Red & Blue, Zubat appears in 21 games spanning 10 generations. Gen 1 originals like Zubat have the longest track record of availability in the series.
