Wynaut is a baby Pokemon from Gen 3 — it can't hold its own in battle yet. The payoff is Wobbuffet, which is where the real competitive value lives. Worth raising if you need one on your team. Only weak to Bug, Ghost, and Dark.
Wynaut's spread isn't flashy. HP leads, Attack trails, 1 stats clear the bar. Common in the wild and worth 1 HP EV, on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
It tends to move in a pack. Individuals squash against one another to toughen their spirits.

How to Evolve
The 50% bulk from Eviolite is no joke. Wynaut takes hits that fully evolved Pokemon can't, especially with HP-heavy investment EVs pushing the physical wall side. Counter gives it offensive presence.

Wynaut's biggest threats include Scyther (Bug), Misdreavus (Ghost), and Absol (Dark), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. At base 23 Speed, Wynaut won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.

Shadow Tag is the go-to ability for Wynaut. It prevents opponents from fleeing or switching out. Its hidden ability Telepathy can work in specific setups.
Wynaut fills the balanced role. It's a physical attacker with base 23 Attack. Base 23 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go.
