Trumbeak sits in the middle of its evolution line — stronger than Pikipek but not yet at full power. Most trainers push through to Toucannon as fast as possible. Ground and Ghost moves can't touch it, and only 3 types hit it super-effectively. Known as the Bugle Beak Pokemon.
Trumbeak's built around physical offense. Attack leads the charge, Sp. Atk pays for it. Common in the wild, worth 2 Attack EVs. Follows a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
It can bend the tip of its beak to produce over a hundred different cries at will.
From its mouth, it fires the seeds of berries it has eaten. The scattered seeds give rise to new plants.
Trumbeak Weakness
GoodTrumbeak is weak to Electric, Ice, and Rock-type moves. On the flip side, it's immune to Ground and Ghost-type moves entirely.
Trumbeak is the middle stage between Pikipek and Toucannon. It's a three-stage line with one more evolution to go. For breeding, quick to hatch with a decent partner pool via one egg group. HP has grown the most so far (+20), but there's still another 130 stats to gain in the final evolution.
How to Evolve
Focus Sash guarantees Trumbeak survives one hit from full HP. That's enough to deal early damage and fire off Endeavor before going down. Pickup and max Attack and Speed EVs maximize first-turn impact.

TMs define Trumbeak's movepool. The natural moves cover basics with Brave Bird and Hyper Voice, but the real versatility comes from technical machines giving it coverage across 7 types. That's where the options open up.

Trumbeak isn't fully evolved, so it's not built for competitive play. You'll want to evolve it into Toucannon to unlock its full potential. At 355 BST, it's a stepping stone rather than a team anchor.
Keen Eye is the go-to ability for Trumbeak. It prevents accuracy from being lowered. Its hidden ability Pickup can work in specific setups. Skill Link is the other option — pick based on what your team needs.
Trumbeak fills the balanced role. It's a physical attacker with base 85 Attack. Base 75 Speed is workable — faster than some, slower than many. And it's fragile — can't afford to take many hits.
Trumbeak can be found in Scarlet & Violet, Sun & Moon, and Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon.
Introduced in Sun & Moon, Trumbeak has appeared in 3 games across 3 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
