Almost nobody uses Shuppet in battle. It exists to evolve into Banette, which is a completely different story. Get it there and you won't regret it. Normal and Fighting moves can't touch it, and only 2 types hit it super-effectively. Known as the Puppet Pokemon.
Nothing fancy in Shuppet's spread. It leans mixed with Attack out front. And you'll get 1 Attack EV per KO for it. Follows a fast 800K XP curve.
It loves to feed on feelings like envy and malice. Its upright horn catches the emotions of people.
Shuppet Weakness
ExcellentGhost and Dark-type moves hit Shuppet for super-effective damage. The upside? Normal and Fighting-type moves can't touch it at all.
- Dark and Steel types added — Fairy does not exist yet
- Moves are Physical or Special based on type, not per move
Shuppet is the base form in a two-stage line leading to Banette. Check the evolution method below. A decent partner pool for breeding via one egg group. Eggs are average hatch time. The evolved forms gain up to 160 total stats over Shuppet.
How to Evolve
Breed Shuppet easily with 22 breeding partners from the Indeterminate egg group. Pass egg moves like Astonish, Destiny Bond, Disable and 2 more to offspring.

Don't skip the egg moves. Shuppet picks up Astonish and Destiny Bond only through breeding, and both fill gaps the natural movepool can't. STAB runs through Shadow Ball and Astonish while Dark and Normal coverage and more adds range.

Shuppet is a physical attacker with base 75 Attack. Fragile — can't afford to take many hits, too. But the speed tells the real story — base 45 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go.
