Almost nobody uses Shuppet in battle. It exists to evolve into Banette, which is a completely different story. Get it there and you won't regret it. Normal and Fighting moves can't touch it, and only 2 types hit it super-effectively. Known as the Puppet Pokemon.
Nothing fancy in Shuppet's spread. It leans mixed with Attack out front. And you'll get 1 Attack EV per KO for it. Follows a fast 800K XP curve.
They love vengeful emotions and hang in rows under the eaves of houses where vengeful people live.

How to Evolve
Breed Shuppet easily from the Indeterminate egg group. Pass egg moves like Astonish, Confuse Ray, Destiny Bond and 5 more to offspring.
The recommended build leans into Shuppet's strengths as a physical attacker. Sitrus Berry provides a one-time health recovery at low HP, and max HP and Attack EVs back that up. Insomnia rounds out the package.

Don't skip the egg moves. Shuppet picks up Astonish and Confuse Ray only through breeding, and both fill gaps the natural movepool can't. STAB runs through Phantom Force and Shadow Ball while Dark and Electric coverage and more adds range.

Watch for Misdreavus (Ghost) and Tyranitar (Dark) when using Shuppet. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Only 2 weaknesses means fewer dedicated counters to worry about.
