Mid-stage Pokemon like Quaxwell rarely see competitive play outside of special formats. It's a waypoint on the road to Quaquaval, which is where the real potential kicks in. Only weak to Electric and Grass. Known as the Practicing Pokemon.
An unusually even spread gives Quaxwell flexibility. Attack barely edges ahead. But Sp. Def isn't far off. Tough to catch and follows a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve. Yields 2 Attack EVs.
These Pokémon constantly run through shallow waters to train their legs, then compete with each other to see which of them kicks most gracefully.
The hardworking Quaxwell observes people and Pokémon from various regions and incorporates their movements into its own dance routines.
Quaxwell Weakness
GoodElectric and Grass-type moves hit Quaxwell for super-effective damage. 4 resistances help offset the weaknesses. Just 2 weak spots to worry about, which keeps teambuilding straightforward.
Partway through Quaxly's chain. Quaxwell still has another evolution ahead before reaching Quaquaval. For breeding, average hatch time with plenty of partners via two egg groups. So far, Attack got the biggest boost (+20 from Quaxly). The final form adds another 120 stats on top.
How to Evolve
Torrent gives Quaxwell passive value while it walls. Sassy nature boosts Sp. Def, max HP and Sp. Def EVs maximize the slow wall profile, and Eviolite keeps it in the game.
