151 base Speed is no joke, but Pheromosa can't afford to take a hit back. It outspeeds nearly everything without investment, so at least it usually attacks first. One of the newer additions from Gen 7. Watch the Flying matchup though — quadruple damage means one hit can end it.
Pheromosa's all-in on Speed at the expense of Defense. The mixed lean is obvious from the bars. Yields 3 Speed EVs and follows a slow 1.25M XP grind.
One of the dangerous Ultra Beasts, it has been spotted running across the land at terrific speeds.
One of the Ultra Beasts. It refuses to touch anything, perhaps because it senses some uncleanness in this world.
Pheromosa Weakness
VulnerablePheromosa's Bug/Fighting typing leaves it vulnerable to Flying, Fire, Psychic, and Fairy moves. Flying hits land at 4x, so they're the biggest threat. It resists 5 types, giving it decent defensive coverage. At base 151 Speed, Pheromosa outspeeds most threats and doesn't need to tank what it can outrun.
You won't breed Pheromosa or evolve it further. This Bug/Fighting type brings 570 total stats right out of the encounter.
How to Evolve
Wide Lens and Beastboost form the backbone. Pheromosa invests max Sp. Atk and Speed EVs to play its special attacker role properly, and Mild nature pushes Sp. Atk higher. High Jump Kick handles the heavy lifting on offense. Electric coverage rounds it out.

Recommended Teammates
Pheromosa develops a solid moveset just through leveling. Jump Kick and Bug Buzz show up naturally, and the progression handles both STAB and utility without leaning on TMs for the core attacks.

Best Locations
Pheromosa has a 570 base stat total and ranks as B-Tier — a solid choice for the right team. It works best as a sweeper. Base 151 Speed is where it shines.
Watch for Staraptor (Flying), Charizard (Fire), and Starmie (Psychic) when using Pheromosa. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Staraptor is the most dangerous since Flying moves deal 4x damage. Fairy-type attackers are also a problem. Pheromosa's base 151 Speed lets it outpace many threats and strike first, which matters more than trying to tank hits.
Pheromosa doesn't evolve and has no evolutionary line. It's a Bug/Fighting-type Pokemon with strong stats at 570 BST — no evolution needed.
Beast Boost raises this Pokémon's highest stat by one stage when it faints another Pokémon — that's the one you want on Pheromosa. It's the only ability Pheromosa has.
Pheromosa fills the sweeper role. It's a special attacker with base 137 Sp. Atk. Base 151 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. And it's fragile — can't afford to take many hits.
Pheromosa can be found in Sword & Shield, Sun & Moon, and Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon.
Introduced in Sun & Moon, Pheromosa has appeared in 3 games across 3 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
