Patrat doesn't have much going for it on its own — the stats just aren't there. The payoff is Watchog, and getting there is worth the grind. Known as the Scout Pokemon. Been around since Gen 5.
Patrat's stats barely vary. 0 sit in respectable range with no real gaps. It's a blank slate for EV investment. Worth 1 Attack EV, medium-fast 1M XP curve to max.
Extremely cautious, one of them will always be on the lookout, but it won’t notice a foe coming from behind.
Patrat Weakness
GoodPatrat is weak to Fighting-type moves. On the flip side, it's immune to Ghost-type moves entirely. Only 1 weakness makes it relatively easy to build around defensively.

Patrat evolves into Watchog. It's a two-stage chain with the method shown below. No compatible partners for breeding via one egg group. Eggs are quick to hatch. Evolving adds up to 165 stat points total.

Patrat's encounter pool splits between Black 2 and White 2. You've got 16 walking spots at Lv. 2-14 total, but your version determines which ones actually show up.
Patrat isn't fully evolved, so it's not built for competitive play. You'll want to evolve it into Watchog to unlock its full potential. At 255 BST, it's a stepping stone rather than a team anchor.
Patrat's biggest threats include Conkeldurr (Fighting), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Only 1 weakness means fewer dedicated counters to worry about.
Patrat evolves into Watchog at level 20. Patrat is the base form of this evolutionary line.
Run Away is the go-to ability for Patrat. It ensures success fleeing from wild battles. Its hidden ability Analytic can work in specific setups. Keen Eye is the other option — pick based on what your team needs.
Patrat fills the balanced role. It's a physical attacker with base 55 Attack. Base 42 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. And it's fragile — can't afford to take many hits.
