Stats & Training
Nothing fancy in Grumpig's spread. It leans special with Sp. Def out front. And you'll get 2 Sp. Def EVs per KO for it. Follows a fast 800K XP curve.
It can perform odd dance steps to influence foes. Its style of dancing became hugely popular overseas.
It uses black pearls to amplify its psychic power. It does a strange dance to control foes’ minds.
Grumpig Weakness
Type-wise, Grumpig takes extra damage from Bug, Ghost, and Dark. Thick Fat reduces Fire/Ice damage, further improving the defensive spread. Grumpig's special bulk (base 110 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.

How to Get Grumpig in Legends: Z-A
No wild encounters for Grumpig in Legends: Z-A. Bring Spoink over from Ruby, Emerald, or Scarlet, then level through the stages. Each step in the chain is laid out below.
Grumpig Guide
In Legends: Z-A, Grumpig looks average on paper at 470 BST. But Thick Fat is why it sees play. Build around that and it pulls its weight. C-Tier on our tier list. Nasty Plot with Icyrock is the standard set.
In Legends: Z-A, Grumpig's biggest threats include Heracross (Bug), Misdreavus (Ghost), and Houndoom (Dark), all carrying super-effective STAB moves.
Grumpig gets Thick Fat, Own Tempo, and Gluttony. But Thick Fat is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that.
Grumpig is a special attacker with base 90 Sp. Atk. Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 80 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many.
In Legends: Z-A, the best way to handle Grumpig: Super-effective STAB from faster Pokemon is the simplest answer. Bug, Ghost, and Dark-type attackers hit hardest.
