Stats & Training
You won't find a real weakness in Glalie's stat line. It's well-rounded for the Face Pokemon, and what it does with that depends on moveset and items. Yields 2 HP EVs, on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
Its prey is instantaneously frozen stiff by the cold air it exhales from its huge mouth. While they’re in that frozen state, it gobbles them up.
It prevents prey from escaping by instantaneously freezing moisture in the air.

Legends: Z-A Evolution
Glalie is one of 2 ways Snorunt's chain can end. This one takes the level-up path, while the siblings go different directions. Breed through Snorunt to get eggs. Glalie and Froslass share the same 480 total stats, but they're distributed differently. Check the comparison below to see where each one specializes. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
Legends: Z-A Glalie Best Moveset
Bulk and offense in one package. Glalie runs Black Sludge for Poison-type passive recovery with a Timid nature, so it survives long enough to threaten with Substitute. Flexible EVs and utility options make it hard to safely switch into.

Moves
Most of Glalie's flexibility comes from TMs. Same-type output runs through Blizzard and Ice Beam, but Dark and Normal and the rest of the TM pool push it from predictable to genuinely threatening.

How to Get Glalie in Legends: Z-A
Glalie Guide
In Legends: Z-A, Glalie works as a hazard setter with 480 BST behind it. C-Tier on our list: a niche pick in Legends: Z-A's meta. Substitute with Black Sludge is the standard set.
Mega Evolution isn't available in Legends: Z-A, but Glalie does have a Mega form in Gen 6-7 games (X/Y, ORAS, Sun/Moon). Mega Glalie hits 580 BST.
In Legends: Z-A, Glalie's biggest threats include Blaziken (Fire), Machamp (Fighting), and Aerodactyl (Rock), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Steel-type attackers are also a problem.
Inner Focus is the go-to ability for Glalie. It prevents flinching. Its hidden ability Moody can work in specific setups. Ice Body is the other option. Pick based on what your team needs.
Glalie is a physical attacker with base 80 Attack. Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 80 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. Fits the hazard setter role.
Game Availability
Available since Ruby & Sapphire, Glalie appears in 17 games spanning 8 generations. Beyond its original form, it gained a Mega form in Generation 7.
