Crobat Weakness

Electric, Ice, Psychic, and Rock moves hit Crobat for super-effective damage. The upside? Ground-type moves can't touch it at all. 4 resistances help offset the weaknesses.

Moves

Don't skip the egg moves. Crobat picks up Feint Attack and Gust only through breeding, and both fill gaps the natural movepool can't. STAB runs through Fly and Wing Attack while Bug and Dark coverage and more adds range.

Crobat Guide

  • For Gold & Silver, we rate Crobat C-Tier: a niche pick in Gold & Silver's meta. At 535 BST, it fits the pivot role. Toxic with Leftovers is the standard set.

  • In Gold & Silver, watch for Raikou (Electric), Lapras (Ice), and Alakazam (Psychic) when using Crobat. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Rock-type attackers are also a problem.

  • Base 130 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. On offense, Crobat is a physical attacker with base 90 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a pivot.

  • For Gold & Silver, Crobat has answers, but so do you. Super-effective STAB from faster Pokemon is the simplest answer. Electric, Ice, and Psychic-type attackers hit hardest.

  • In Gold & Silver, use Crobat as a pivot. Physical side carries the damage. It outspeeds most threats,

Game Availability

Available in 18 titles since its debut in Gold & Silver, Crobat spans 9 generations of Pokemon games. It's accessible through wild encounters in most mainline games.
