While most trainers evolve Crabrawler into Alolan Crabominable immediately, the unevolved form has a niche with Eviolite boosting its defenses. Only weak to Flying, Psychic, and Fairy. Known as the Boxing Pokemon. The stat spread favors raw physical power.
Attack and Speed carry most of Crabrawler's stat budget. Sp. Atk's the obvious dump stat. Easy to catch and yields 1 Attack EV. Follows a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
This Pokémon punches trees and eats the berries that drop down, training itself and getting food at the same time.
If it loses its pincers, they’ll quickly regrow. The pincers are popular ingredients in paella since their shells produce a tasty soup stock.
Crabrawler Weakness
AvgCrabrawler's Fighting typing leaves it vulnerable to Flying, Psychic, and Fairy moves. Standard number of weaknesses for the Fighting typing.
What you see is what you get. Crabrawler sits outside any evolution chain, so focus on the egg moves and no compatible partners from one egg group. Eggs are average hatch time.

Hyper Cutter prevents Attack from being lowered by other Pokémon — that's the one you want on Crabrawler. Anger Point is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses. Iron Fist works too if your team needs something different.
At base 63 Speed, it won't be moving first often. On offense, Crabrawler is leaning toward the physical side (base 82 Attack). Defensively? Fragile — can't afford to take many hits.
Crabrawler can be found in Legends: Z-A, Scarlet & Violet, Sun & Moon, and Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon.
Crabrawler joined the series in Sun & Moon and has been available in 4 titles so far. With 3 generations of appearances, it's established itself despite the later start.
