Normal and Fighting moves don't affect Ceruledge at all — that's the advantage of Fire/Ghost typing. Flash Fire absorbs Fire moves and powers up its own. Sits at a decent but contested Speed tier. Known as the Fire Blades Pokemon.
Attack and Sp. Def carry most of Ceruledge's stat budget. Sp. Atk's the obvious dump stat. Very hard to catch and yields 2 Attack EVs. Follows a slow 1.25M XP grind.
The fiery blades on its arms burn fiercely with the lingering resentment of a sword wielder who fell before accomplishing their goal.
An old set of armor steeped in grudges caused this Pokémon’s evolution. Ceruledge cuts its enemies to pieces without mercy.
Ceruledge Weakness
GoodWater, Ground, Rock, Ghost, and Dark-type moves hit Ceruledge for super-effective damage. The upside? Normal and Fighting-type moves can't touch it at all. With 7 resistances, the defensive profile is strong. Flash Fire grants an additional Fire immunity, reshaping the matchup chart.
You get Ceruledge from Charcadet using a Malicious Armor. It's one of 2 possible evolutions in this branching family, each requiring its own method. Breed through Charcadet to get eggs. Both Ceruledge and Armarouge hit 525 total stats from Charcadet. The difference is how those stats are split.
How to Evolve
Breed with Ceruledge to get Charcadet eggs from the Humanshape egg group.
Focus Sash buys the setup turn. Ceruledge clicks Swords Dance, then starts cleaning with Poltergeist and the remaining moves. Jolly nature with max Attack and Speed EVs makes sure nothing tanks a boosted hit comfortably.

Flash Fire changes the entire equation for Ceruledge. The 525 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked B-Tier as a wallbreaker.
Flash Fire is what you want on Ceruledge. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Weak Armor) work on paper but Flash Fire is what makes Ceruledge worth using. Flash Fire synergizes with Ceruledge's base 100 Sp.Def, letting it soak special attacks as a pivot.
Base 85 Speed is workable — faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Ceruledge is a physical attacker with base 125 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a wallbreaker.
Ceruledge can be found in Legends: Z-A and Scarlet & Violet.
Ceruledge joined the series in Scarlet & Violet and has been available in 2 titles so far. With 1 generation of appearances, it's established itself despite the later start.
