Starting August 31, the Legendary Pokémon GO Entei will begin appearing in Pokémon GO. This is 1 of the 3 Legendary Beast from the Johto Region available during this event.

Catch all three Legendary Beast in Raid Battles

Start Date - 8/31/17

End Date - 11/30/17

Important Note:

You can find these Legendary Pokémon in the following areas of the world:

•  Raikou, an Electric-type Legendary Pokémon, can be battled throughout the Europe and Africa region.
•  Entei, a Fire-type Legendary Pokémon, can be battled throughout the Asia-Pacific Region.
•  Suicune, a Water-type Legendary Pokémon, can be battled throughout the Americas Region.

After the specific duration of time, the spawn locations of Pokemon GO Entei will switch regions. This will happen enough times to allow everyone around the world a chance to catch all 3 of the Legendary Beast Pokemon.

First Region Swap Date: 8/31/17 - 9/30/17

Second Region Swap Date: 9/31/17 - 10/30/17

Third Region Swap Date: 10/31/17 - 11/30/17

Raid Pass

You would normally find and catch Pokemon GO Entei in Cities, Neighborhoods and Warmer Climate Locations since it's an Fire type. However, This specific Pokemon can only be captured after defeating it in a Raid Battle. Raid Bosses spawn at Gym locations and players use Raid Passes to enter the battle.
