Below we will explain how each Stat works in Cyberpunk 2077 since understanding this will be core to figuring out what your character build will be.
- Each Stat has Skills that are Improved and unlock access to Perks, which you can unlock Perk Points from leveling up that specific skill.
- From Level Stats like Body, Cool, Reflexes, Technical Ability, and Intelligence, you will receive other bonus stats listed below.

How Resistance Works in Cyberpunk 2077
Resistance | How It Works |
---|---|
Physical | The higher the Physical protection, the less damage a player will receive from Melee Attack and Bullets. |
Chemical | The higher the Chemical protection, the lower chance a player will be affected by a Chemical Attacks. |
EMP | The higher the EMP protection, the lower chance a player will be affected by a EMP Weapons. |
Thermal | The higher the Thermal protection, the less damage a player will receive from Cold and Hot Sources. |
Status Effects in Cyberpunk 2077
Weapons, Quickhacks, Daemons, and other devices can inflict various long-term status effects on both you and your enemies. Their name displays the duration of status effects on enemies.
