Mid-stage Pokemon like Spewpa rarely see competitive play outside of special formats. It's a waypoint on the road to Vivillon, which is where the real potential kicks in. Part of the Gen 6 roster. Only weak to Fire, Flying, and Rock.
Nothing fancy in Spewpa's spread. It leans mixed with Defense out front. And you'll get 2 Defense EVs per KO for it. Follows a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
If Rufflet attacks this Pokémon by pecking at it, it will retaliate with its sharp fur and poisonous black powder.
Spewpa doesn’t live in a fixed location. It roams where it pleases across the fields and mountains, building up the energy it needs to evolve.
Spewpa Weakness
AvgFire, Flying, and Rock-type moves hit Spewpa for super-effective damage. Spewpa's physical bulk (base 60 Def) helps cushion physical weakness hits, but special attackers are the bigger threat.
Spewpa sits between Scatterbug and Vivillon in this three-stage line. Not the final form yet. For breeding, quick to hatch with plenty of partners via one egg group. So far, Defense got the biggest boost (+20 from Scatterbug). The final form adds another 198 stats on top.
How to Evolve
Spewpa hasn't fully evolved, but Eviolite's 50% bulk boost makes it viable anyway. Bold nature with Defense and Sp. Def investment EVs shapes the defensive spread, and Friendguard adds utility.

Shed Skin has a 33% chance of curing any major status ailment after each turn — that's the one you want on Spewpa. Friend Guard is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses.
Spewpa is leaning toward the special side (base 27 Sp. Atk). Fragile — can't afford to take many hits, too. But the speed tells the real story — base 29 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go.
