Is Wormadam Good in Legends: Arceus Playthrough?
Wormadam's typing depends on where Burmy last battled. The Plant Cloak (Bug/Grass) is the most common. All forms struggle with low stats and too many weaknesses. A Pokedex entry, not a team pick.

Wormadam Weakness
Fire moves hit Wormadam for super-effective damage. Fire hits land at 4x, so they're the biggest threat. The upside? Poison-type moves can't touch it at all. It resists 8 types, so it can switch into a lot of moves safely. With 60 HP and balanced defenses, Wormadam can afford to eat a neutral hit or two.

Wormadam Evolutions
Wormadam is what Burmy becomes. Breed it for Burmy eggs (quick to hatch). A decent partner pool for breeding via one egg group. Eggs are quick to hatch. The evolution from Burmy pushed Wormadam to 424 total stats. Defense saw the largest single gain at +50. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
PLA Wormadam Best Moveset
Bug/Grass Plant Cloak at 79 Sp. Atk and 105 Sp. Def with 36 Speed. The moveset has special bulk and moderate output. Too slow for Agile Style, and Strong Style at these offensive numbers barely threatens.
Best Build
Legends: Arceus uses different battle mechanics.

Moves List
A compact toolkit overall. The offense runs through Iron Head for Wormadam, with Grass and Normal coverage and more doing what it can. Don't expect versatility from this one.

Its body, composed of refuse, blends in to the scenery so much as to be inconspicuous. This seems to be the perfect way for the Pokémon to evade the detection of predators.
Wormadam Legends: Arceus Guide
In Legends: Arceus, watch for Arcanine (Fire) when using Wormadam. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Arcanine is the most dangerous since Fire moves deal 4x damage. Only 1 weakness means fewer dedicated counters to worry about. At base 36 Speed, Wormadam won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.
For Legends: Arceus, it depends on your team. Wormadam at 424 BST isn't a powerhouse, but the Bug/Steel coverage might be exactly what you're missing.
In Legends: Arceus, Wormadam brings 424 BST to the table. D-Tier on our list: outclassed by other options available in Legends: Arceus.
Anticipation notifies all trainers upon entering battle if an opponent has a super-effective move, self destruct, explosion, or a one-hit KO move. That's the one you want on Wormadam. Overcoat is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses.
Wormadam is leaning toward the physical side (base 69 Attack). Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 36 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go.
Game Availability
