Also found in:

  • Wartortle at level 16 is the mid-stage. Push through to Blastoise at level 36 for the final form. 314 BST right now won't cut it long-term.

  • Level 16 gets you Wartortle. Quick enough that Squirtle barely slows you down.

  • You can run Squirtle through the first few routes without issues. 314 BST won't carry you far though. Get it to Wartortle as fast as you can.

  • You won't have trouble finding Squirtle. It's been around since Legends: Z-A and appears in 21 games total. Latest appearances: Yellow and Red & Blue.

One of the original 151, Squirtle has appeared in 21 games — nearly every mainline game. From Red & Blue through the latest titles, it's rarely been left out of a regional Pokedex.
