Chlorophyll doubles its Speed in sun, adding real value on top of Scovillain's already solid stats. Grass/Fire typing means only weak to Poison, Flying, and Rock. Known as the Spicy Pepper Pokemon. Flexible enough to run physical or special sets.
The stat budget goes to damage. Attack and Sp. Atk carry the offense, HP doesn't even come close. A Spicy Pepper Pokemon on a medium-fast 1M XP curve, worth 2 Attack EVs per KO.
The red head converts spicy chemicals into fire energy and blasts the surrounding area with a super spicy stream of flame.
The green head has turned vicious due to the spicy chemicals stimulating its brain. Once it goes on a rampage, there is no stopping it.
Scovillain Weakness
AvgScovillain is weak to Poison, Flying, and Rock-type moves. 4 resistances help offset the weaknesses. Standard number of weaknesses for the Grass/Fire typing.
Getting Scovillain requires an evolution item, not just grinding levels. The chain starts at Capsakid. Breed this form to get Capsakid eggs (average hatch time). Attack grew the most through evolution (+46 over Capsakid), and Scovillain peaks at 486 total stats.
How to Evolve
Breed with Scovillain to get Capsakid eggs easily from the Plant egg group.
Scovillain runs a standard attacker set. Hardy nature with max Sp. Atk and Speed EVs shapes the build, while Bigroot brings extra utility. Chlorophyll supports the kit from the background.

Leveling does the heavy lifting. Scovillain picks up Overheat and Solar Beam along the way, building toward a complete offensive set. TMs add Dark and Rock coverage and more, but the foundation's already strong by then.

Chlorophyll changes the entire equation for Scovillain. The 486 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier as an attacker.
Scovillain's biggest threats include Salazzle (Poison), Talonflame (Flying), and Golem (Rock), all carrying super-effective STAB moves.
Capsakid evolves into Scovillain using a Fire Stone. Scovillain is the fully evolved form. At 486 BST, it's got solid stats to work with.
Chlorophyll is what you want on Scovillain. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Insomnia, Moody) work on paper but Chlorophyll is what makes Scovillain worth using.
Base 75 Speed is workable — faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Scovillain is a special attacker with base 108 Sp. Atk. Best used as an attacker.
Scovillain can be found in Legends: Z-A and Scarlet & Violet.
Scovillain joined the series in Scarlet & Violet and has been available in 2 titles so far. With 1 generation of appearances, it's established itself despite the later start.
