While most trainers evolve Litleo into Pyroar immediately, the unevolved form has a niche with Eviolite boosting its defenses. Ghost moves can't touch it, which offsets the 4 weaknesses somewhat. Needs some investment to avoid getting outsped. Known as the Lion Cub Pokemon.
An unusually even spread gives Litleo flexibility. Sp. Atk barely edges ahead. But Attack isn't far off. Easy to catch and follows a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve. Yields 1 Sp. Atk EV.
The stronger the opponent it faces, the more heat surges from its mane and the more power flows through its body.
They set off on their own from their pride and live by themselves to become stronger. These hot-blooded Pokémon are quick to fight.
Litleo Weakness
GoodLitleo's Fire/Normal typing leaves it vulnerable to Water, Fighting, Ground, and Rock moves. It shrugs off Ghost-type attacks completely. With 6 resistances, the defensive profile is strong.
One evolution ahead. Litleo grows into Pyroar through a straightforward two-stage chain. No compatible partners for breeding via one egg group. Eggs are average hatch time. The evolved forms gain up to 138 total stats over Litleo.
How to Evolve
Breed Litleo from the Ground egg group. Pass egg moves like Entrainment, Fire Spin, Snatch and 1 more to offspring.

You'll want to breed for Entrainment and Fire Spin on Litleo. These egg moves aren't just nice to have. Combined with STAB from Overheat and Fire Blast, they expand what Litleo can actually threaten in practice.

Rivalry increases damage inflicted to 1.25× against Pokémon of the same gender, but decreases damage to 0.75× against the opposite gender — that's the one you want on Litleo. Moxie is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses. Unnerve works too if your team needs something different.
Base 72 Speed is workable — faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Litleo is a special attacker with base 73 Sp. Atk.
