While most trainers evolve Kubfu into Galarian Urshifu immediately, the unevolved form has a niche with Eviolite boosting its defenses. Only weak to Flying, Psychic, and Fairy. One of the newer additions from Gen 8. Needs some investment to avoid getting outsped.
Kubfu's built around physical offense. Attack leads the charge, Sp. Def pays for it. Near-impossible to catch, worth 1 Attack EV. Follows a slow 1.25M XP grind.
Kubfu trains hard to perfect its moves. The moves it masters will determine which form it takes when it evolves.
If Kubfu pulls the long white hair on its head, its fighting spirit heightens and power wells up from the depths of its belly.
Kubfu Weakness
AvgKubfu's Fighting typing leaves it vulnerable to Flying, Psychic, and Fairy moves. 3 weaknesses is about average, nothing too hard to play around.
Kubfu is a standalone Fighting type at 385 total. It can't breed, which makes catching one the only real option.
How to Evolve
Don't let the NFE status fool you. Kubfu with Eviolite hits bulk numbers that compete with final forms. Max Sp. Atk without Speed EVs and Hardy nature maximize that, and Innerfocus handles the rest.

Without TMs, Kubfu's movepool is bare bones. With them, you get coverage across 9 types on top of Focus Punch and Close Combat for STAB. The natural kit handles basics, but TMs are doing the real work.

At 385 BST, Kubfu is built different. We rank it C-Tier. As a Legendary Pokemon, the raw stats back up the reputation. Best used as a balanced.
Watch for Staraptor (Flying), Reuniclus (Psychic), and Grimmsnarl (Fairy) when using Kubfu. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB.
Kubfu evolves into Galarian Urshifu using a Scroll Of Waters. Kubfu is the base form of this evolutionary line.
Inner Focus prevents flinching — that's the one you want on Kubfu. It's the only ability Kubfu has.
Kubfu fills the balanced role. It's a physical attacker with base 90 Attack. Base 72 Speed is workable — faster than some, slower than many.
Kubfu can be found in Scarlet & Violet and Sword & Shield.
