Stick and Defiant form the backbone. Farfetch'd invests max Attack and Speed EVs to play its physical attacker role properly, and Adamant nature pushes Attack higher. Firstimpression handles the heavy lifting on offense. Utility options rounds it out.

Moves

The level-up pool tells the story here. Farfetch'd learns Sky Attack and Fly naturally, plus enough variety that TMs feel like bonuses. Poison and Grass coverage and more extends the reach beyond that.

Farfetch'd Guide

  • At 377 BST, Farfetch'd is firmly in pre-evolution territory. Not competitive in its current form.

  • In Let's Go Pikachu & Eevee, watch for Raikou (Electric), Lapras (Ice), and Aerodactyl (Rock) when using Farfetch'd. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB.

  • Keen Eye prevents accuracy from being lowered. That's the one you want on Farfetch'd. Defiant is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses. Inner Focus works too if your team needs something different.

  • Farfetch'd is leaning toward the physical side (base 90 Attack). Fragile, can't afford to take many hits, too. Speed tells the real story. At base 60 Speed, it won't be moving first often. Fits the support role.

  • In Let's Go Pikachu & Eevee, Farfetch'd at 377 BST is a stepping stone. Evolve it when you can for a real stat jump.

Game Availability

Available since Red & Blue, Farfetchd appears in 20 games spanning 10 generations. Beyond its original form, it gained a Galarian form in Generation 8.
