Pressure helps Entei stick around while dealing real damage. Assault Vest for a special bulk boost with no status moves allowed, spread EVs for the right balance, and Ironhead as the main threat. Not the fastest, but it doesn't need to be.

In X & Y, Entei is a Legendary Pokemon rated B-Tier. At 580 BST, it hits hard. It excels as a sweeper. Ironhead with Assault Vest is the standard set.
Pressure is the go-to ability for Entei. It increases the PP cost of moves targetting the Pokémon by one. Its hidden ability Inner Focus can work in specific setups.
Base 100 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. On offense, Entei is a physical attacker with base 115 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a sweeper.
For X & Y, the core moveset is Ironhead, Stone Edge, Flare Blitz, and Extreme Speed. Ironhead leads at 25% usage. This set covers the sweeper role with a mix of damage and utility.
