Entei is a Gen 2 Legendary with a strong stat spread that holds up well. Fire typing gives it a clear competitive identity. Only weak to Water, Ground, and Rock. Known as the Volcano Pokemon. It clears the crowded base-100 Speed benchmark.
Raw HP carries Entei's bulk more than the defenses do. Sp. Def barely registers. But that HP pool covers for it. A near-impossible to catch Volcano Pokemon that yields 3 HP and Attack EVs on a slow 1.25M XP grind.
