Almost nobody uses Electrike in battle. It exists to evolve into Manectric, which is a completely different story. Get it there and you won't regret it. Known as the Lightning Pokemon. Been around since Gen 3.
Electrike's stats barely vary. 0 sit in respectable range with no real gaps. It's a blank slate for EV investment. Worth 1 Speed EV, slow 1.25M XP grind to max.
Using electricity stored in its fur, it stimulates its muscles to heighten its reaction speed.
It stores static electricity in its fur for discharging. It gives off sparks if a storm approaches.
Electrike Weakness
GoodGround-type moves hit Electrike for super-effective damage. Its Electric typing keeps the defensive matchups simple. Lightning Rod grants an additional Electric immunity, reshaping the matchup chart.

Watch for Golem (Ground) when using Electrike. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Only 1 weakness means fewer dedicated counters to worry about.

Run Lightning Rod on Electrike. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Electrike also gets Static and Minus, but they don't compare.
Electrike fills the balanced role. It's a special attacker with base 65 Sp. Atk. At base 65 Speed, it won't be moving first often. And it's fragile — can't afford to take many hits.
