Powerful legs and jaws made it the apex predator of its time. Its own overhunting of its prey was what drove it to extinction.

Type-wise, Dracovish takes extra damage from Dragon and Fairy. Its Water/Dragon typing keeps the defensive matchups simple. Water Absorb grants an additional Water immunity, reshaping the matchup chart. With 90 HP and balanced defenses, Dracovish can afford to eat a neutral hit or two.

Prediction matters here. Choice Scarf means Dracovish can't change moves after clicking, but the payoff is speed patching through item lock. Max Attack and Speed EVs with Strongjaw back that up. Dark coverage prevents free switches.

Dracovish is not available as a wild encounter in this game.

This is an event-exclusive or special distribution.

  • Don't let Dracovish's 505 base stat total fool you. Sand Rush is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it B-Tier.

  • Dracovish's biggest threats include Dragonite (Dragon) and Gardevoir (Fairy), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Only 2 weaknesses means fewer dedicated counters to worry about.

  • Run Sand Rush on Dracovish. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Dracovish also gets Water Absorb and Strong Jaw, but they don't compare.

  • Dracovish fills the balanced role. It's a physical attacker with base 90 Attack. Base 75 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.

  • The core moveset is Fishiousrend, Crunch, Psychic Fangs, and Ice Fang. Fishiousrend leads at 25% usage. This set covers the balanced role with a mix of damage and utility.

Introduced in Sword & Shield, Dracovish has appeared in 1 games across 3 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
