The stat budget goes to damage. Speed and Attack carry the offense, Defense doesn't even come close. A Mount Pokemon on a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve, worth 2 Speed EVs per KO.
Apparently Cyclizar has been allowing people to ride on its back since ancient times. Depictions of this have been found in 10,000-year-old murals.
It can sprint at over 70 mph while carrying a human. The rider’s body heat warms Cyclizar’s back and lifts the Pokémon’s spirit.
Cyclizar's Dragon/Normal typing leaves it vulnerable to Ice, Fighting, Dragon, and Fairy. It shrugs off Ghost-type attacks completely. 4 resistances help offset the weaknesses. Cyclizar leans offensive (base 95 Atk) rather than trying to tank its weaknesses.

Cyclizar is what you get. No evolutions, but it breeds through one egg group with a massive partner pool. Hatching is slow to hatch. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
U-turn keeps your team's momentum going. Cyclizar doesn't need to stay in long, Assault Vest provides a special bulk boost with no status moves allowed and flexible EVs make every visit count. Rapid Spin threatens on the way out. Regenerator adds passive value.

Finding Cyclizar at low spawn rates takes patience. 10 spots are available in mid-game routes, but the rate difference between them matters. Lock in the top one from the sorted list below.
Best Locations to Catch Cyclizar in Scarlet & Violet
Cyclizar's encounter pool splits between Violet and Scarlet. You've got 10 walking spots at Lv. 20-65 total, but your version determines which ones actually show up.
Cyclizar doesn't appear in Legends: Z-A. Transfer it from Scarlet to add it to your collection. Check the source games below for encounter details.
Cyclizar is not available as a wild encounter in this game.
Catch in the wild in:
Then trade to Legends: Z-A.
Regenerator changes the entire equation for Cyclizar. The 501 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked A-Tier as a pivot.
Regenerator is what you want on Cyclizar. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Shed Skin) work on paper but Regenerator is what makes Cyclizar worth using.
Base 121 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. On offense, Cyclizar is a mixed attacker with base 95 Attack and 85 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a pivot.
Cyclizar has answers, but so do you. Super-effective STAB from faster Pokemon is the simplest answer. Ice, Fighting, and Dragon-type attackers hit hardest.
Cyclizar joined the series in Scarlet & Violet and has been available in 2 titles so far. With 2 generations of appearances, it's established itself despite the later start.
