Corsola is technically a pre-evolution of Cursola, but it holds its own in formats where Eviolite is allowed. Regenerator recovers a third of its HP every time it switches out, adding extra value. It works well under Trick Room.
Corsola's spread favors balanced defenses over offense. Defense leads the defensive side, Speed eats the cost. Yields 2 Defense and Sp. Def EVs per defeat. Fast 800K XP curve to level.
They prefer unpolluted southern seas. Their coral branches lose their color and deteriorate in dirty water.
Corsola Weakness
VulnerableType-wise, Corsola takes extra damage from Grass, Electric, Fighting, and Ground. Watch out for Grass attacks, those deal 4x damage. It resists 5 types, giving it decent defensive coverage.

Corsola evolves into Cursola. It's a two-stage chain with the method shown below. No compatible partners for breeding via two egg groups. Eggs are average hatch time. Evolving adds up to 100 stat points total.
How to Evolve
Breed Corsola easily from the Water1 and Water3 egg groups. Pass egg moves like Amnesia, Aqua Ring, Barrier and 10 more to offspring.
The build centers on Stealth Rock and survivability. Leftovers means passive recovery each turn, and max HP and Defense EVs give Corsola the bulk to set up repeatedly. Regenerator adds another layer of staying power. Recover keeps it healthy between hits.

You can catch Corsola through 4 surfing and fishing encounters from Lv. 35-70, but availability differs between Black 2 and White 2. Some spots are exclusive to one version.
Corsola isn't fully evolved, so it's not built for competitive play. You'll want to evolve it into Cursola to unlock its full potential. At 410 BST, it's a stepping stone rather than a team anchor.
Corsola's biggest threats include Venusaur (Grass), Jolteon (Electric), and Hitmonlee (Fighting), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Venusaur is the most dangerous since Grass moves deal 4x damage. Ground-type attackers are also a problem. At base 35 Speed, Corsola won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.
Corsola evolves into Cursola at level 38. Corsola is the base form of this evolutionary line.
Run Regenerator on Corsola. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Corsola also gets Hustle and Natural Cure, but they don't compare.
Corsola fills the support role. It's a special attacker with base 65 Sp. Atk. Base 35 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
