On paper, Cinccino looks underwhelming. In practice, Technician boosts weaker moves to surprising damage levels — and that's the whole story. Normal typing means Ghost moves can't touch it, and only a single type hits it super-effectively. Known as the Scarf Pokemon.
Cinccino's built around physical offense. Speed leads the charge, Defense pays for it. Moderately hard to find, worth 2 Speed EVs. Follows a fast 800K XP curve.
Their white fur is coated in a special oil that makes it easy for them to deflect attacks.
Their white fur feels amazing to touch. Their fur repels dust and prevents static electricity from building up.
Cinccino Weakness
GoodFighting-type moves hit Cinccino for super-effective damage. The upside? Ghost-type moves can't touch it at all. At base 115 Speed, Cinccino outspeeds most threats and doesn't need to tank what it can outrun.
- Fairy type does not exist — Dragon has fewer checks
- Physical / Special split now per-move (introduced Gen IV)
Cinccino doesn't evolve through normal leveling. You'll need an evolution item to get here from Minccino's line. Breed this form to get Minccino eggs (quick to hatch). Evolving from Minccino gave Cinccino the biggest boost in Attack (+45), bringing the total to 470 stats.
How to Evolve
Breed with Cinccino to get Minccino eggs easily using 180 partners from the Ground egg group. Notable egg moves include Aqua Tail, Endure, Fake Tears and 6 more.
The build revolves around U-turn for safe pivoting. Skilllink and Life Orb support Cinccino's hit-and-run approach, with max Attack and Speed EVs making sure each pivot actually threatens. The remaining moves adds versatility.

Without breeding, Cinccino misses out on Aqua Tail and Endure. That's 9 egg moves adding depth that the base kit lacks. STAB comes from Giga Impact and Hyper Beam, with coverage across 9 types rounding things out.

Don't let Cinccino's 470 base stat total fool you. Technician is what makes it tick — it punches way above its weight class. We rate it C-Tier as a pivot.
Watch for Lucario (Fighting) when using Cinccino. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Only 1 weakness means fewer dedicated counters to worry about. Cinccino's base 115 Speed lets it outpace many threats and strike first, which matters more than trying to tank hits.
Minccino evolves into Cinccino using a Shiny Stone. Cinccino is the fully evolved form. It sits at 470 BST in its evolved form.
Run Technician on Cinccino. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Cinccino also gets Cute Charm and Skill Link, but they don't compare.
Cinccino fills the pivot role. It's a physical attacker with base 95 Attack. Base 115 Speed lets it outrun most of the field.
